Translator and Copyeditor
Spanish to English
Specializing in gender equity and peacebuilding
I am a Spanish-to-English translator and copyeditor specializing in gender equity, human rights, and peacebuilding. I also have professional experience researching and developing gender equality tools, resources, and publications.
My career has been shaped by my passion for building a world with equity and justice and my love of working with text to mold and share ideas. I pride myself on communicating clearly with clients—beginning with a listening-first approach—and delivering consistent, high-quality work. Based in Colombia since 2015, I have worked with non-profits, international organizations, academic institutions, and the private sector on a variety of projects. Previous clients include the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, the Colombian Truth Commission, UNDP Colombia, Fundación Compaz, and Humanity United.

I hold a BA in political science and international peace studies from the University of Notre Dame and a Spanish/English translation certificate from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. To continue sharpening my professional skills, I am a member of the Colombian Association for Translators, Terminologists, and Interpreters (ACTTI, in Spanish); the Society of Gender Professionals; and ACES: The Society for Editing.
